Jess began her TV career supporting OB companies, where her obvious organisational superpowers led her to co-ordinate 32 crews traveling across Europe for the 2016 UEFA Euros tournament. Since then, she has held various HR and operational roles in the entertainment, property and education sectors, bringing invaluable out-of-sector experience to the fast-paced world of television.

Ben over 20 years of experience in the TV industry, beginning his career in studio photography before progressing to manage some of the largest rental operations in the creative industries. Ben is also an accomplished artist, blending graphic design and photography, and can often found exploring the streets of London with scanning equipment in hand, capturing intricate shapes and textures for his next piece of work. Ben is a proud father of two, a dedicated junior football coach and spends much of his time acting as the family taxi service. 

With over two decades of experience managing accounts within the television industry, Marie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. With strong Irish roots, she’s known for her work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and her pragmatic approach - she’s the enforcer when it comes to keeping finances, staff and clients alike on track. Outside of work, Marie loves to unwind by travelling, often enjoying holidays with the girls, and there's always a glass of red wine in hand to celebrate a very well-earned break.

Our Chief Morale Officer and resident sniffing expert. Friendly to the core, unless you're a freelancer - then you might want to watch your ankles. When not strictly enforcing office boundaries, Sunny can be found napping in sunbeams, chewing her bone or offering emotional support to anyone who needs it. She's a paws-itively essential part of the team :)

Laura specialises in cinematic multicam and projects with many moving parts. Known for her no-nonsense approach, she handles every task - big or small - with her trademark efficiency, which are important qualities given the number of errant crew she has to manage. As our resident RED personality, Laura is results driven and excels at keeping jobs and budgets on track, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Outside of work, she’s all about relaxing with her cat, Bear, and her Kindle, Kevin, often enjoying a drink (or two) after a busy day. 

Jim juggles timelines, budgets, and milestones like a pro - though nothing compares to his greatest balancing act: being a new dad. When he's not leading projects with precision and care, you’ll find him mastering the art of baby swaddling and decoding baby giggles.

The only PM in the country to smash out twenty-four carnets in a day without breaking a sweat. A devoted dog lover and Disney aficionado, she brings her passion for adventure and joy into every project she undertakes. Our resident rollercoaster expert, she is wonderfully placed to offer support to clients on their production journey.

PJ, or “Project Joe,” as he’s affectionately known -is an upbeat force of nature with a legendary T-shirt game and a love for all things pink. Hailing from Somerset, he has a natural affinity for cider and can be found once a year, clad in lederhosen, representing the West Country at Oktoberfest. Project Joe is exceptionally passionate about at his job and his fast growing client base, and his vibe is a big hit with the Hotcam community and staff alike. 

Lucy is our technical manager with a sharp eye for detail and a natural talent for understanding exactly what her clients need. Often found knee-deep in cables, she thrives on transforming technical chaos into clarity. Her problem-solving skills make her the go-to guru for any brief for our clients, who can expect to have every element of their production colour coded to within an inch of it's life. A huge fan of musicals she brings a little extra flair to productions, particularly theatre shows which include Titanic, Rodgers and Hammerstein's 80th Anniversary and Next to Normal.

When Ian isn’t running around on location, he can be found running marathons, cooking, or rocking out at music festivals. This love for music feeds into his work where he relishes working on shows where you can feel the energy of the audience. Highlights include guaranteeing the tech on location in Greece for Love is Blind and tying together the OB for the World Stage at this year's MTV EMAs. He is also a meticulous and passionate wireman, quick with the soldering iron and a newly qualified HGV driver. Honk honk, Ian coming through!

The newest addition to the engineering department, Georgie has an editorial background which gives her a unique perspective of how engineering impacts production teams. Her infectious enthusiasm, innate understanding of TV, and total unwavering commitment to getting the job done have made her a massive hit with the Hotcam community. When she’s not out on two wheels you’ll find her either tinkering in the systems department, knee deep in cables, or setting up a gallery somewhere in London or beyond. 

Hugo is a skilled technical and mechanical engineer with a passion for solving complex challenges. Having trained in-house at some of the world's best known grip manufacturers, he brings Hotcam a level of repairs and service expertise that is difficult to find elsewhere in the UK. He is well known in the camera community for his resourceful approach and taking pride in truly understanding his client's needs. When he's not engineering, you'll find him with his four legged friends, 3D printing busts of Dwayne Johnson or converting pneumatic peds into coffee tables. 

A legendary frequency planner with a mic collection to rival any sound engineer’s most salacious fantasies, this multi-talented aficionado knows how to tune the perfect vibe - one favourite microphone at a time. When he's not fine-tuning frequency plans for some of the biggest shows in TV, you’ll find him banging out almost-extinct niche genres of bass-heavy music in the warehouse or shredding on his guitar.

Ray brings decades of location experience to any job, whether that be out with our clients or building rigs at Hotcam. He has shot on location all over the world, touring and filming as a sound recordist and live audio engineer, and brings an effortless, seamless presence to location. Other than all things audio, Ray’s other love is his meticulously maintained Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 SE 8V (that's a motorbike), which he commutes in on every day, rain or shine. 

The Projects Desk have PJ (Projects Joe), the Audio Department have AJ (Audio Joe). Joe loves getting into the nitty-gritty of audio and comms equipment – in fact he’s currently building his own analogue modular synth! Joe is a fantastic addition to any location crew with a knack for all things Bolero. He loves live music both as a member of the crowd and as a technician behind the scenes. When not surround by audio gear he likes to disconnect and head outdoors for long hikes and can often be found up a mountain. 

Connah isn’t just our Kitroom Manager—he’s the backbone that keeps everything running smoothly. A Napoleonic Wars expert, Private Eye aficionado, and Tony Scott film lover, he brings a unique blend of intellect and passion to the team. When he's not taming the hustle and bustle of kitroom life, you can often find him in his natural habitat, either quaffing a Guinness at the rugby, or chilling with Aperol spritz in the sunshine. 

Sam loves working with people, and as our Mental Health First Aider, so he is always up for a chat. A lover of world cinema, Sam can probably be found at your local independent cinema in most of his free time. With previous technical experience Sam has worked on his own short films and likes to get out for a run or swim when he can.

With over 14,000 line items under his watchful eye, Gary is the mastermind behind our inventory operations—no small feat in a bustling TV kit house. Whether it's keeping everything in perfect order or resolving a tricky stock issue, Gary’s got it covered. When he's not immersed in inventory, our fastidious quartermaster is always ready with a perfectly brewed cup of rooibos tea to lift spirits if times get tough. And come summer, Gary’s mouthwatering Chinese-Caribbean BBQ skills might just give Ash a run for his money...

Got a technical question? Stuart’s your go-to guy. With a deep knowledge of camera equipment, he’s always ready with an answer. But his interests go beyond gear - Stuart is an avid reader and a lover of books, always seeking something new to dive into. These days, though, most of his time (and sleepless nights) are spent with his newborn baby girl, making memories that matter most.

Need an RF video setup sorted? Luke’s your man. Whether it's getting a Vaxis up and running in record time or quickly fixing a dropped signal, he’s the go-to for Directors who want to get pictures up - now! With camera assistant experience that’s taken him across the globe, Luke brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. When he's not solving tech challenges, you’ll find him watching F1, out snapping, or enjoying time with family and friends.

Kate is a theatre lover; she often visits as an audience member in her spare time but through her work her work with Hotcam she has provided her camera assistant skills to shows across the west end. With a background in drama, she's brings a thorough and detailed methodology to her preps. As a (very) proud northerner, Kate is known for her unshakable attitude toward the weather - no matter the forecast, she’ll be wearing shorts and will have undoubtable left her coat at home. 

Kian has taken his camera assistant skills across the globe and has built his skillset up working on a variety of shows. When he’s in the kitroom he is known for his ability to set up an box lens quicker than anyone. Off his own back, Kian has produced many great short films, and he is a keen chess player, so was made up when we sent him off to cover the national speed chess championship. 

De-rig ninja and turtle enthusiast, Charlotte is a meticulous maestro who swiftly caught the eye of our clients, earning a Rising Star Award nomination in the process. A familiar face on shoots, Charlotte has worked across a huge range of projects—from Chase & Status to Love Is Blind—building an impressive depth of knowledge and becoming an incredibly versatile assistant in the process.

When he’s not out on set as a camera assistant, Chris is all about getting new kit prepped and ready for the next big job. A gear enthusiast at heart, he’s always excited to see what’s coming through the door. Outside of work, Chris pursues his passion for photography and environmental documentary filmmaking, recently returning from filming a charity running project in Iceland - which you should definitely check if you get the a spare moment. When he's not learning the trade or making his own films, you can find him surfing.

Ollie’s always looking for ways to innovate and streamline his camera assisting - his homemade tab book is stuff of legends and would make even the most hardened focus puller lose their sharps. With experience spanning feature films to live music, Ollie’s worked on a wide variety of projects, and always brings fresh ideas to the table. A fan of puzzles, he's constantly challenging himself with Wordle, crosswords, or a cheeky game of chess. 

Elliot is a proud camera nerd, with a calm, considerate approach, and a keen eye for detail that he puts to work creating bespoke camera packages for our clients. His passion spans a variety of formats, from live sport and music to scripted TV, ensuring every project gets the perfect setup. Outside of work, Elliot is an adrenaline junkie, spending his weekends either downhill mountain biking or snowboarding—season depending!

One thing you can always count on with Ozzy is his positive attitude - he embraces every day with a smile. Whether he’s working in the kitroom or supporting on a wide range of projects, from dramas to large-scale OB jobs, Ozzy’s always up for the challenge. Outside of work, you’ll likely find him cruising the London canals on his boat or diving into his latest bike refurbishment project. 

Neve is an avid swimmer and skier and loves to explore new places whenever she can. This love for exploration carries through to her work, where she is particularly interested in wildlife and underwater cinematography. Neve has filmed documentaries off her own back and loved being a camera operator at Green Man Festival, putting what she’s learnt into practice as part of a crew on location. Neve is excited by new opportunities, whether this be on set or in the kitroom, she is always looking to learn something new.

A true northerner with unshakable grit, Harvey brings laser focus and determination to every task. His no-nonsense approach to getting the job done has made him an invaluable addition to the team, and he’s quickly become a favorite on location with the Hotcam regulars. We're grateful to have Harvey come on board - his commitment and work ethic speak for themselves.

Sam Lowe is the heart of our kit room, where he brings his technical expertise, hard work ethic and easy going manner to every task. When he’s not leading the check-ins team or working as a DIT until the early hours, Sam can be found reminiscing about the golden days of mid-2000s pop culture, from Hole in the Wall to the legendary Smarties pop-up ice cream. An (extremely) amateur figure skater, West Ham fan, and Simpsons quiz regular, Sam’s always up for a laugh when it involves a bit of nostalgia - but the job always comes first. 

Chloe loves to see a good prep come together and enjoys the puzzle of configuring camera kits. She loved taking her strong sense of problem solving with her on her first job at Hotcam, managing our on-location kit room for Love is Blind. When not at work, Chloe likes to be with her family, trying new food, and she is a keen artist – if you’re looking for an original Koi Fish drawing, Chloe is the person to go to. 

Heavy metal fan, cult horror movie lover, and regular at venues like The Black Heart and Genesis Cinema, Max brings a unique energy to every project that can only be borne out of years listening to thrash metal. With a knack for problem-solving and handling the fast-paced nature of TV, he's always ready to take on the next challenge. Never without his MP3 player, Max also has a love for live music - and he’s already hit a career high filming Robert Plant at the Royal Albert Hall. Rock on, brother 🤘

From filming The Who live at the Royal Albert Hall to working on Building the Band, Made in Chelsea, and Britain’s Got Talent, Sukhpreet  is enjoying working across all of Hotcam's different types of production. A film grad from Oxford Brookes, he's happiest in a cinema and is endlessly curious about all aspects of filmmaking. 

After completing a degree in Television Production in Falmouth, Matt moved to London, where he's been working in the industry ever since. He's gained experience working on large-scale reality TV projects, often travelling to new locations along the way. Outside of work, Matt is passionate about scouting for quality vintage garms and niche lenses at car boots, charity shops or anywhere there could be hidden gems. 

The first thing to know about Bruna is she takes her coffee very seriously! Fuelled by a passion for all things camera and a cup of Columbia’s finest, she flies through preps all day long. Bruna is always doing something interesting. She is a keen scuba diver and a competitive ice-skater, keep your eye on the Olympic figure skating in a few years’ time! If anyone reading this is working on Dancing on Ice, give us a call…

If you’ve ever been to a comic con or fan expo, chances are you’ve spotted Dan with his camera at the ready, capturing moments for his Instagram. Back at work, he’s known for clearing the check-ins floor with lightning speed and a sharp eye for detail. A proud Welsh native, Dan has also introduced the whole kitroom to the delights of Welsh cakes - and now we’re all hooked!

There’s no European motorway Will’s not travelled on – he’s clocked plenty of hours and miles working in a previous life as a runner and now as a trainee at Hotcam. Will likes to travel, spending time with friends and developing his interest in all areas of TV production. Highlights this year include driving accross the continent several times supporting a twelve-member crew for a major new series for NBC Universal. 

As an ultra marathon runner and regular participant of the Parkrun, to say Ella is a keen runner is an understatement. She is interested in filming live sport and works on her own projects outside of work.

Patrick is a man on the move - whether he's driving across France, assisting crews on shoots, or honing his skills at a rapid pace, he’s always up for the challenge. When he's not on the road or working behind the scenes, you'll find him hiking up mountains, playing football, or cheering on his beloved Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. With a keen interest in sports events, music festivals, , wildlife and factual entertainment, Pat brings enthusiasm and a love for adventure to everything he does.
